Gift of support – Buy a care pack for a medevac patient

For many Timor-Leste patients, travelling to hospital can only be possible through MAF’s medical evacuation flights. Without the country’s only air ambulance, patients have to walk several treacherous days or risk a rough boat crossing. When MAF evacuated Catarina’s son to hospital after being diagnosed with tuberculosis, the family were grateful to receive a care pack filled with items they didn’t bring or would otherwise not have access to. These care packs are an extra layer of support for patients and their loved ones during times of uncertainty.

Each care pack includes snacks, toiletries, and clothes – essential items providing hope and healing to patients as well as their loved ones.
