Our engineers are equipped to make sure MAF aircraft are working at their best. During each plane’s check-up and maintenance, our teams need to have essential tools such as screwdrivers and 10-piece wrench sets. In Chad, pilots avoid flying in the hottest part of the day where increasing air temperatures rising up to 40 degrees can cause challenging flight conditions.

During the fleet’s time on the ground, engineers can fix and upgrade each plane to increase its long-term versatility and reliability. MAF Chad Country Director Sam Baguma says, ‘We have to do a lot of testing and investigations to ensure that the aircraft will serve us and our partners safely and effectively.’
