What we do

Working in partnership with hundreds of other Christian and relief organisations, MAF enables practical help, physical healing and spiritual hope to be delivered to some of the world’s most remote and inaccessible communities

MAF flies to more destinations than the six largest airlines in the world combined.

In 2023 we flew

370

passengers a day - That's enough to fill more than 4 double decker buses

130

flight legs every day, five every hour. Taking off or landing every 6 minutes somewhere around the world

1500

organisations - From education to health, evangelism to disaster response

6,300,000

kilometres - That’s more than 157 times around the equator!

Practical help

‘The arrival of an MAF flight is always a cause for celebration, not least because of the arrival of fresh fruit and vegetables! Although it’s possible to drive from Juba to Yuai during the dry season, many of the areas were mined during the civil war, and rebel militia groups are still active. So travelling with MAF is quicker and safer.’

Spiritual help

‘We distribute solar-powered handheld radios so every household can hear God’s Word in their own language. MAF flies them in. We’d be hard-pressed to do this work without MAF.’
