Freddie Stockley

I grew up in a Christian home and spent much of my childhood in Arnhem Land where my parents worked for MAF.

When I was 12 years old, we moved to the UK where I completed my school education before going on to college for three years. I felt that university wasn’t for me, and I knew I wanted to do something different, I just wasn’t sure what that was.

In the summer of 2023, I began considering becoming a pilot and serving in mission. Admittedly, I had never given it much thought before, but once the idea took hold, I pursued it wholeheartedly. I completed my flight training in Australia and although it came with its challenges, it also brought many rewards.

Since then, I have been working in the Arnhem Land programme in Quality and Safety, with a move into Operations planned for the near future. It has been a valuable learning experience and has given me a behind the scenes look at how a program is run.

MAF is so highly regarded as an organisation here and it is very clear that what MAF provides for remote communities is a lifeline. The aircraft are constantly flying, and the engineers work tirelessly to ensure they are fit for purpose. It is very much God’s vision being put into practice.

Please pray for me as I seek to build a team of partners who will commit to praying for me and giving regular financial gifts enabling me to serve. If you would like to partner with me, please use the links on this page.

Would you prayerfully consider joining their support team?
