Brighton Marathon 2026

Less than 1% of the population run a marathon – want to join that exclusive club?

We are very excited to have secured three places in the prestigious Brighton Marathon in 2026 – the UK’s third-largest marathon – which will take place on Sunday 12 April.

Known it’s relaxed seaside vibes, you could be one of 12,500 runners and gain yourself bragging rights for life!

Every mile run will help to fuel life-saving flights with MAF UK.

Successful applicants must be aged 18 or over on the day of the event and will need to raise a minimum of £1,000 support, and be willing to share their journey of training and support-raising regularly with MAF supporters via social media.

We will support you in this process and will encourage you as you go along.

The places are limited, so we want to make sure we select the best representatives for MAF – people who will maximise this opportunity to fundraise for and raise awareness of MAF.

The following questions will therefore help us to assess your motivation, commitment, resilience and understanding of the challenge.

Applicants will be offered an informal online interview and must complete a Marathon runner agreement and Medical declaration form. If you are aged 17, but will be 18 by 12 April 2026, a parent/guardian will also be required to complete a Parent/Guardian consent and Medical declaration form for the Brighton Marathon.
