MAF’s 15-minute medical evacuation flight from Atauro Island to the national hospital in Dili saved Filomena and her baby’s lives after birthing complications. Had MAF not been able to fly Filomena to the hospital, she and her baby may not have survived. But our aircraft can’t go anywhere without fuel for flight. Two jerrycans can fuel one of our planes for 15 minutes, which can be the difference between life and death.
