Dave and Caroline Moore

David and Caroline Moore have been married for 30 years, have two adult children, and have felt called to serve MAF using their God-given skills and gifts. They would value your support and prayers, having moved to Papua New Guinea in September 2019. Dave is Building Maintenance and Projects Manager and Caroline is supporting prayer ministry.

David has been in Engineering, Maintenance and Project Management for over 30 years. He grew up in a Christian Home and remembers MAF visiting his family Church as a child and being inspired by hearing pilot’s tales of medical evacuations and challenging airstrip landings.

Experience was gained from an Engineering Apprenticeship through to looking after buildings and sites including the world-famous Eden Project in Cornwall with its tropical rainforest biomes, little knowing at the time that perhaps this was training for what was to come.

Around ten years ago he was involved in several short-term missions with the Church, visiting and supporting Missionaries out in Egypt and experienced first-hand the difference between western life and the rest of the world, and God has continued to challenge him since then.

Having suffered a major illness in 2018 and feeling at a crossroads, and having always said he wanted to use his skills for God’s work, he felt challenged when praying to genuinely look for Christian based work. He is serving in Papua New Guinea by fulfilling the critically required role of Building Maintenance and Projects Manager.

Caroline committed her life to the Lord as a teenager when a schoolfriend invited her to an outreach event. She met David at his father’s Church, and worked as a civil servant before having their two children, Aaron and Catherine. Since then she has worked part-time at whatever fitted around family life, and most recently at the Christian Bookshop in Bude.

Caroline is passionate about prayer ministry, having served in the local Church, National Conferences, and on Sozo teams. She is also enthusiastic about leading small group Bible Studies, working through a book consecutively.

Together they are looking to grow kingdom and leave a legacy, seeing people healed, restored and mentored into their full potential in Christ.

That Jesus would receive the reward for His suffering, from every tribe and tongue.
